RiseCheck

Terms of Use

Last updated: 18 October 2026

By using RiseCheck you agree to these terms. If you obtained the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

The app

RiseCheck is an alarm clock with wake-up missions. It uses the iPhone's own alarm system, so it depends on your device's settings, volume, battery and iOS. It is provided "as is", without warranties. Do not rely on it as your only alarm for anything where oversleeping could cause harm (for example a flight, a medical appointment or medication). It is not medical, sleep or professional advice.

Missions

Only do a mission when it is safe for you. Walking and shaking missions are optional; choose a mission that suits you. You can always turn an alarm off with "Emergency off".

Your data

Your alarms and history are stored on your device. We cannot recover data that was only on a lost or reset device.

RiseCheck Pro

Pro is offered as a monthly or yearly auto-renewing subscription. The yearly subscription may include a 7-day free trial for new subscribers; if you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription starts and you are charged. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under its policies.

Changes

We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
