Privacy Policy
Last updated: 23 October 2026
Spaca ("the app") is a photo and video cleaner made by an independent developer based in Taiwan. This policy explains what information the app handles.
Your photos stay on your iPhone
With your permission, Spaca reads your photo library on your device to find similar photos, screenshots, blurry photos, burst extras and large videos. The analysis (for example sharpness scores and small image fingerprints) is computed and stored only on your device. Your photos and videos are never uploaded, and we do not run servers that receive them. The app has no account system.
Contacts
If you use Duplicate contacts, Spaca reads your contacts on your device to find duplicates and, when you tap Merge and confirm, copies their phone numbers and email addresses into the card it keeps and deletes the other cards from your iPhone's Contacts. Deleted contact cards cannot be recovered. Contacts are never uploaded.
Private album
Photos you move into the private album are stored only inside Spaca on your device and are included in your iPhone backup. Face ID or your passcode is checked by iOS; Spaca never sees your face data.
Deleting
No photo or video is deleted from your library until you choose items and confirm in the iOS dialog. Deleted photos and videos go to the Recently Deleted album in Photos, where iOS keeps them for 30 days.
Advertising
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. Spaca only requests non-personalised ads and never asks to track you. To show and measure ads, Google may collect information such as your IP address, device model, operating system and how you interact with ads. Users in the EEA and UK are asked for consent through Google's consent message. Your photos and their analysis are never shared with advertisers. Learn more in How Google uses information from apps that use its services and the Google Privacy Policy. Spaca Pro removes ads.
Purchases
Purchases and subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). We do not receive your payment details.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
